Solar Activities and Us – Part Two

In addition to the Sun, all the planets including the Earth carry huge electric currents and the magnetic electric waves they emit due to their electromagnetic structures enter into the magnetic field of the earth and into the biosphere in the form of an electrical storm. The magnetosphere of the earth is highly sensitive to these powers. Each planet has a different effect on the earth’s magnetosphere. Although we know that the planets have direct electromagnetic radiation, we do not know how effective they are. As the planets emit electromagnetic energy to each direction, they do not only affect the Sun but also they affect each other. The electromagnetic radiation emitted by the planets affect the inner part of the Sun and helps the formation of the sunspots. Some of the planetary gravity combinations also affect the sunspots on the surface of the Sun and trigger the solar flares.

The observations and the researches show that the solar activities and the shifts in the magnetic field of the earth are all affected by the planetary alignments. The massive studies on this subject were made in the 19th century and the scientists related the solar activities with the planets.

In the 1960s W.A.Norton, the American astronomer from the Yale University believed that Jupiter and Venus had a role in the formation of the sunspots.

In 1969-1970, other findings were established by the English astronomers. Not only Jupiter-Venus combinations, but also Venus-Mercury and Mars-Jupiter combinations and Mercury alone were discovered to be affective on the formation of the sunspots.

Professor Balfour Stewart, the author of the “The Unseen Universe”, who made studies on the meteorology and the earth’s magnetism, stated that there were lots of reasons for believing the relation between the planetary alignments and sunspots and declared: “if all these speculations are proved to be right, it means that we were totally mistaken about the Medieval Astrology.”

In the second half of the 20th century, more researches were made. By the beginning of the 1950’s, more researches were made on the affects of the planets on the solar activities.

In 1951, John H.Nelson discovered that the radio interferences increased when the Sun had 0, 90 and 180 degree aspects with the other planets because the solar activities increased during these periods. As a result, a method has been developed to determine the days when the sound waves will be affected. John H. Nelson knew nothing about the astrology but his findings were supporting the ancient astrology teachings. The planets that are on the same longitude (0 degree / conjunction), the ones in 90 degrees (square) and 180 degrees (opposition) with each other were in line with negative long distance radio waves, whereas the planets with 60 degrees (sextile) and 120 degrees (trine) between each other were in line with positive radio waves. After noticing Nelson’s observation on the planetary patterns were felicitous, the aspects between Jupiter, Saturn and Uranus were observed and a correlation of 68% was discovered between the planetary cycles and the events in the business world. John Nelson recognized that however the gravitational affects of the distant planets – Uranus, Neptune and Pluto – on the Sun were so small; their power for creating a magnetic storm was too high. His conclusion was: “We are dealing with the things that the science do not know yet about our Solar System.”

In 1960s, Dr. Jane Blizard, one of the Researchers and Physicians from Denver University, found out that if there is a conjunction (0 degree), opposition (180 degrees) and some square aspect between some planets, huge explosions in the Sun were observed. Blizard declared that it was possible to make long term assumptions on the solar activities. According to Blizard, event related with proton were in relation with the positions of Mercury, Venus, Earth and Jupiter and this could affect tide effect on the Sun. There was not enough explanation about how the planet alignments affect the solar activities however the value of this method could not be denied.

In 1973, some astrologers mentioned about the planetary conjunctions, oppositions, houses and phases in an article issued by the New York Science Academy, which made the scientists angry about. A space scientist from the Colorado University pointed the relationship between the planetary alignments and the sunspots of 11.1 years. Mercury, Venus, Earth and Jupiter’s tidal effect on the Sun was explained.

Astrophysician and astronomer Dr. Percy Seymour, the author of “Scientific Basis of Astrology” and “Scientific Proof of Astrology”, suggested that planetary alignments and their hard angles with the Sun had a role in the formation of sunspots and drastic solar activities. Seymour’s theory supports Jane Blizard’s theory that she concluded in her study for NASA where she stated that the heliocentric alignments between the planets (0-90-180 degreed) and their hard aspects with the Sun caused corruptions in the Sun. According to Seymour, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune causes the shift in the magnetic field of the Sun and reverses it. The vibration of these planets enlarges and affects the magnetic field of the Sun. If we apply the same magnetic wave vibrations to the Earth’s magnetosphere, we may say that the planets affect the Earth’s magnetic field directly. Consequently, the magnetic field of the Earth does not get affected via solar storms only but also directly from the planets. The weakness of the wave affects of these planets is not important; these affects may increase due to the resonance. The magnetic channels of the Sun have the capacity to increase the weak powers of the planets. These magnetic channels, that are the magnetic power fields, spread vibrations just like the strings of a musical instrument and increase the resonance of the planets’ weak wave affects within the solar cycle.

In 2007, a NASA scientist, Ching-Cheh Hung, declared in his article named “Apparent Relations Between Solar Activity and Solar Tides Caused by The Planets” that the sunspots cycles were affected from the changes in the tidal waves of the planets. As a proof, he stated that the 28 out of 35 inflammation were observed when one or more planets which cause dominant tidal waves (Mercury, Venus, Earth and Jupiter) are over the existing positions (<10°) or in opposition (180°) with the Sun. As observed in the latest 300 years, Hung emphasized that Venus, Earth and Jupiter alignment cycles were similar to Schwabe sunspots of 11 years.

Planeraty Alignments and Solar Activities

According to the scientists, when the planets align with each other in 0-90-180 degrees (with a tolerance of + / – 10 degree) the center of the Sun is also very active and solar activities make a peak. Most of the solar flares are related with the indirect gravity of the planets. When the Sun stands between such two planets and if the planets are in their optimum positions, the energy increases. As a result, the center of the Sun is stimulated. The electromagnetic radiation and the combined gravity of the planets affect not only the Sun, but also the Earth’s center. According to Frank Glasby, the author of the book “Planets, Sunspots and Earthquakes”, this gravitational affect is not a direct one but tangent to the direct gravity line. When a tidal affect is triggered, an activity is observed.

The main determining factors for the solar activities are the planets with wider orbit, which means the slow moving planets. These slow moving planets are Neptune, Uranus, Saturn and Jupiter. These planets change the magnetic field of the Sun, shift its direction and corrupt the magnetic channel of the Sun. Jupiter and Saturn are more influential planets because these two determine the change in the magnetic channel. The alignments of these two planets are related with the changes in the main field of the Sun and with the solar spots. Jupiter and Saturn have powerful magnetic fields and they emit powerful radio signals. The intersection of these two planets’ radiation may cause activity. Jupiter and Saturn alignments comply with 11-years sunspot cycles. When they are in conjunction or in opposition with each other, we observe a correlation on the polarity shift of the Sun and the sunspots. Any change in the alignment also gives information about the change in the Sun.

The fast moving planets; Mercury, Venus and Mars trigger the affects of the slow moving ones. When the fast moving planets make 0-90-180 degree heliocentric aspects (+ / – 10 degrees) with each other, they may cause solar activities. The Earth is affected from the planets around the Sun and their positions because they are related with sunspot formations and the changes in the solar winds. The Earth, like the major planets, is also an active planet in the formation of solar winds. According to Prof. Dr. Buryl Payne who is the author of the book “Planetary Influences”, Mercury travels between the Earth and the Sun in the orbit where it travels faster and by preventing the solar wind currents, it creates a fluctuation in the geomagnetic field. Mercury seems to be retrograding in this part of its orbit. During such phases, communication issues become complicated. When Venus and Mars come closer, if the Moon is also aligned with them, a direct increased is observed in the geomagnetic activity. When Mars and the Earth are aligned, Mars atmosphere is observed to be cooler and if there is a full moon during this alignment, its effects on the Earth becomes more evident. Payne declared that when Mercury and Venus are aligned, magnetic effects and the number of sunspots decrease temporarily.

Planetary alignments are also related with the duration of sunspot cycles. As the maximum length is related with the alignment of slow moving planets, this maximum length can be longer. The main effect is seen when the slow moving planets make 0-90-180 degree aspects and this effect is valid during the duration of the aspect and this cycle.

Planetary Alignments, Solar Activities and Natural Disasters

Some researchers think that the mutual effect of the gravitational forces of the planets and the low density electromagnetic powers trigger the earthquakes. The grouping of the planets causes an additional power which may trigger the earthquakes. The fast moving planets which are Mercury, Venus and Mars may have an important role here. The pairs of these planets were observed to be close positions just before the huge earthquakes. According to Frank Glasby, these planets emit powerful radio waves which affect the center of the Earth.

The researches show that Venus and Mars are in close contact during huge earthquakes. The Earth itself also triggers the earthquakes as it is one of the fast moving planets. When the Earth is involved in planetary alignments, an increase in solar activities is observed. During these periods, seismic activity increases. The researches show that in addition to the Earth and the Moon, Jupiter and Venus have powerful gravities. When only two of these align or they all group, this creates a big affect. The aspects that are in tolerance with 0-90-180 aspect signify that there will be more activity.

The Moon’s gravity force on the Earth is almost 2.5 times more than the Sun’s. The phases of the Moon cause some changes in the weather conditions such as drought, tornado, hurricane or lightning. Some researches show that after new moon and full moon phases, the rain amount becomes 10% more and if the Moon is perigee or apogee (closest to and farthest from the Earth), tropic storms may transform into hurricanes. The researcher and author Ken Ring states that moon phases can be used for estimating earthquakes. In his book “Predicting the Weather by the Moon” he states that one of the riskiest periods for earthquakes, the Moon resides at the maximum declinations at the north and south of the equator. The Moon stays at these positions for 3 days and applies a vital stress to the tectonic plates. Another risky period is when the Moon passes from the closest point (perigee) to the Earth. The earthquakes increase during that period. To summarize, we can say that when it is new moon, full moon or perigee, important earthquakes can take place. During full moon phases, an extra ionization on Earth is observed. The Moon stays at the magnetic tail at the back of the Earth and by leaving this place in 4 days; the Moon causes a magnetic stream. This stream hits the Earth and creates a magnetic storm. During new moon periods, as the Moon stands between the Earth and the Sun it prevents the particle stream from the Sun and geomagnetic eruptions are observed. If the center of the Earth is stimulated recently, an earthquake is highly possible.

Some scientists claim that there is a link between the volcanic activities and solar activities. However as they ignored the planets, they failed to explain the mechanism. According to Frank Glasby, volcanic eruptions differ from the earthquakes in two ways: generally there are two planets with close aspects and the center of the Earth is stimulated and the magma gets hotter. During volcanic eruptions, the planets stand too close to each other and also at the same side with the Sun. The slow moving planets gain importance in volcanic eruption periods and they are related with planets groupings which create a horizontal pressure. Buryl Payne states that Venus or Saturn was observed close to the Earth during volcanic activity periods. In addition to this, the Moon’s positions seem to be related with volcanic activities.

Planetary Alignments That Collide Major Events

I will give some examples to show the relation between the natural disasters and the planetary alignments and solar activities. Mainly, I will focus on 2010 and 2011.

An earthquake of 8.8 magnitude hit Chili in February 27th, 2010. Several earthquakes of 6.0 magnitudes followed that one. When we observe it with a heliocentric view, the sky was more stressful. Venus, Saturn and Pluto had 90 degree aspects between each and Mars and Neptune were in opposition. One day before that one, another earthquake of 7.0 magnitude hit Japan.

The Earth and Saturn were in excellent alignment with the Sun in March 21st, 2010. Pluto was making a 90 degree aspect to this alignment. One day prior, an active volcano eruption occurred in Iceland. Many earthquakes followed: 5.1 magnitude in Turkey in March 24th, 6.1 magnitude in Philippines in March 25th, 6.2 magnitude in Chili in March 26th and 6.6 magnitude in India in March 30th.

When the volcano in Iceland erupted for the second time in April 14th 2010, there was a grand cross between Mercury, Venus and Uranus and in addition to this Saturn was in opposition with Pluto. After the eruption, air spaces of many countries were prohibited for flights. At the same day, a hurricane hit India and an earthquake of 6.2 magnitude hit Papua New Guinea.

In June 2010, the number of sunspots increased rapidly. Venus, Jupiter, Mercury and Uranus were aligned in the first days of the month and the Earth and the Sun were positioned in 90 degrees between each. Pluto was positioned in a square aspect with the Saturn and Mars conjunction. Two giant earthquakes shook the earth in that month: in June 12th, an earthquake of 7.7 magnitude hit Nicobar Islands of India. The center of that earthquake was also the northwest of Sumatra island of Indonesia. In June 13th, another earthquake hit the north Japan with a magnitude of 6.2.

The full moon was in July 25th 2010 and in 27th July an increase in the geomagnetic activity was observed. At that day, the planetary alignments were very harsh. Between 28-30 July, due to heavy rains, floods hit China, Afghanistan and Pakistan. Many people died and the damage was severe. The heavy rains continued for a few days more. 70% of Pakistan was submerged. This was the biggest flood that was ever experienced since 1929 and more than 2000 people were death. In Pakistan 20 million and in China 120 million people’s lives were badly affected. A plane and a boat accident happened. Just after the active planetary alignments, a highly active solar explosion was observed. Many earthquakes followed. These active planetary alignments pointed that July and August would be full of action.

Venus came to its nearest position to the Earth in October 28th 2010. Only three days before, three earthquakes of 7.7, 6.1 and 6.2 magnitudes hit Indonesia. In the following tsunami 430 people died, 400 were lost and 2000 were left homeless. With the eruption of Merapi volcano in Java-Indonesia, 38 people died, 20 were injured and 50,000 were evacuated. Another eruption hit in November 3rd and 120 people were death. On Oct. 27th and 28th, a twisted filament of magnetism on the sun decided to untwist. The result was a spectacular eruption. Due to the heavy rains that began at the end of October in Thailand, 57 people died and 3 million people were negatively affected. These rains were the worst of the last 50 years. Another earthquake of 6.4 magnitude hit Pacific in October 30. At the beginning of November, many natural disasters took place.

A major and active explosion in the Sun was observed in February 14th 2010. With a heliocentric view, Jupiter and Saturn were opposed to each other and the Sun, Mars and the Earth were aligned. Neptune was also close to that alignment. Many earthquakes followed again: 6.1 magnitude in Indonesia in February 15th, 6.1 magnitude in Fiji Islands and 6.3 magnitude in New Zealand in February 21st. More than 240 people died in Christchurch – the second biggest city of New Zealand.

When a giant earthquake of 9 magnitude hit Japan in March 11th 2011, Jupiter and Saturn were opposed to each other. In March 9, huge explosions in the Sun were observed and in Japan great earthquakes followed. Karangetang, one of the volcanoes of Indonesia, erupted in March 11.

We can give more examples. These are only a few. We can easily conclude that planetary alignments and solar activities closely relate to natural disasters. Unless the scientists, who investigate the relations between the solar activities and natural disasters, take the planetary alignments into account, they cannot make perfect assumptions.

In my following article, I will mention how the planetary alignments and solar activities affect human biology, psychology, awareness and consciousness.

To be continued…
